MRI
Doctors use MRI to find diseases or abnormalities in the body without using X-rays. MRI uses a magnetic field and radio waves to create detailed images of the body.
MRA
A type of MRI scan using a magnetic field and pulses of radio wave energy to provide detailed images of blood vessels without the use of catheters or surgery.
Breast MRI
A type of MRI scan that can detect very small breast cancers that mammogram and ultrasound cannot.
MRI-Guided Breast Biopsy
Uses an MRI scan to help locate a breast lump to guide a needle to remove a tissue sample for examination.
PET/CT
PET/CT fuses PET and CT scans together to create a combined image with more complete information about cancer location and metabolism.
